Yesterday my sister took me to lunch at Sywell Airdrome. I love this art deco style building. It's a lovely place to sit outside in the Spring and summer to watch the small planes and helicopters coming and going. The food was wonderful and when we came out I managed to get a few shots with this wonderful sky.

What an amazing looking place! Though I can't recall it completely, it brings to mind pictures I've seen of John Travolta's house where he can taxi his plane right up to the front door! We also have an airport in Long Beach (up the road) where they've maintained that Art Deco ambiance, and it's always fun to walk through there and try to "remember when"! Such fun for you two sisters to share time together in a nifty setting like this!
