I love this shot of George - he looks so sweet and innocent!! LOL!! It's hard to believe he turns into a little monster when he is attacking Finlay.
A trip to the vets with George yesterday to check his ear. Both ears are infected one worse than the other. Ear drops and antibiotic tablets for him. Luckily I asked the vet to administer the first dose of the ear drops as I know George does not like his head touched for grooming etc. The vet came out and said he was very well behaved and didn't move when he gave him a good dose of the ear drops. Call me a liar!!
The vet passed the card machine over and in the sunshine I could not see the amount. He showed me the invoice and it was £91.08. So funny as the excess on his pet insurance is £99. They really know how to charge!!
Oh dear & if the vet had treated George at first it might not have been as bad! We once had one of our Labrador’s speared through the shoulder flesh by a piece of wood. Had to have it removed under anaesthetic at the main surgery. We went to collect her & they wouldn’t let her out to us until we paid the Bill...quite a bit it was too. Very strange as we were dairy farmers at the time so had a monthly invoice for veterinary care on the cows. We were quite insulted at the time!
Adorable George! It’s hard to find a decent vet. Oh the stories we could tell ...they would make your toes curl!! Can’t say I trusted any we’ve been to in 30 yrs!
Hope the ear settles soon. Hysterical about the charge!!
