For our theme of looking at something in 3 different ways. I have struggled on this one and took Taffy's suggestion of using my little robin as the subject.

I really could not get my head round this theme for some reason. Taffy suggested using my robin so here goes. Not sure if this really qualifies for what was required. Let me know what you think if you have time.

I do think this fits the theme! It does so with nature and with the same object, and there's something rather pleasing about seeing the three positions, each beautifully framed, but together showing us the entire bird. I found this theme challenging too and was sort of relieved to see us all figuring out what to do with it. I only posted the two examples, but I thought about it with almost every photograph I took! To me, that is a great push type of theme because I ended up really thinking about what the most effective POV will be for an individual shot. Thanks, Ruth, for suggesting it!
@taffy Pam this was what I had in mind, and what I had in mind was what Taffy is finding that we think about POV more as we photograph. Please don't feel stressed by it. I feel like I'm going so far backwards with my photography at the moment. I feel so lacking in anything creative that it was to help me!! I love photography, I felt I was progressing and now I feel like I'm in sinking sand overwhelmed by it and not knowing how to progress. The robins are wonderful. Sorry for letting off steam..
@newbank Ruth I have just seen that you have a poorly finger and are on antibiotics so am not surprised that you are feeling a bit low. You will soon be feeling much better and hopefully the weather will improve so that you can get out with your boys again. Just remember that you love photography so stop stressing and enjoy yourself with it. The creative juices will start flowing again very soon I am sure. Think about why you are overwhelmed and perhaps our little group can do something to help you. Send an email and offload as much as you want - we are here to help each other especially through the difficult times. What is your favourite type of photography? Perhaps we can use this as our next theme? @taffy@888rachel@golftragic
This is great Pam, and a perfect subject for you. I particularly like the top left, but the whole lot look great as you can see all sides and colours. I also struggled to find something for this theme, as I love my macro, and keep wondering what I can do.
@pamknowler@taffy@newbank@888rachel For me, this fits our theme to a T. This is a lovely trio of shots of your lovely robin, each and every one of them is a great shot in itself, as a group the collection is a stunning study. I like the top left-hand one best, but they're all terrific shots. Still trying to get my head around a robin with an orange breast though. In this part of Oz at least robins have bright red breasts. BTW, what are we supposed to be doing now?
