9th February 2015 - Red coat

Practicing for my Flash of Red theme for the 14th. I think I need the red to be a bit bigger than this.

I used Picmonkey for this as per instructions but not sure I like the B&W conversion which I normally do in Nik Efex Pro. I am sure I can do SC in PS - just have to find out how!!

Uploaded for my alternate album
Love it Pam. (Small is beautiful!)

I actually really like this as it is. Any bigger and I think it would be too much, (personally and I am no expert!). I find the eye is drawn all through the image finally resting on the small pop of red. Fav its a lovely image.

@wordpixman @andrina Thanks for that. I have never been a fan of SC so have not used it very much. I think you are right Arthur.

I also think it looks good as a small pop of red rather than bigger. Fav

Good idea to get your practice in early! I like you little flash of red- even though it's small, your eye still goes right to it. If you are already working in PS, then I'm sure you can figure it out in there- or even ask someone on here how to do it.

It may be small but definitely catches the eye.

Great capture and I love that little bit of selective coloring.

What a wonderful shot. Love the lines of the road and fence and nice shot of red.

I did this challenge last year and was surprised how much I learned from it. I looked at things differently and looked for more unusual shots. Well done, love the scene.
