I thought you might be interested to see what we have been up to today. Once again my day was spent with my great niece Sophie who is doing her A levels and hoping to go to University if she gets the right results. These projects are part of her A level.
She got wonderful feedback from her teacher on last weeks project with the photos of my sister. They are going to be printed A3 and will go on the wall as part of her final project.
This time the project is about insects. Not sure I got her thought process completely right. She wanted to show beauty on the outside with something wrong on the inside. Her friend Ellie is the model and she suffers from asthma. Somehow Sophie will be showing the beauty and the ugly side. I think she will be drawing this image and putting caterpillars and butterflies in her hair. I got a bit lost with how she wanted to portray her images but she knew what she wanted. We did a number of different poses. I checked the lighting and settings on the camera and then Sophie took all the photos. This was one of my favourites.
What an exquisite young lady!!! She's beautiful! I have to chuckle at your befuddlement, but I'm sure Sophie has just what she needs to go forward! I echo the call for a finished project! This, alone, is wonderful!
