Drove to the Lake District in Cumbria this morning to get a three landscape images for my challenge from Babs @onewing all three images taken along the A591 road from Keswick to Windermere.

Great shots, I did like your pic from yesterday, but I like this one more. I guess I'm more of a country girl than I thought. :)

Beautiful triptych and you have captured the Lake District so well. Love the low sky. I always remember the sky being low whenever I visited the Lake District.

@onewing Thank you Babs for you great comments, only drove there to get three landscapes, confession time low sky only because the sky was very grey cropped the sky out in Photoshop:)

Really lovely shots all, Peter. I especially like the bottom one, with the road leading the eyes and the cows on the hillside. Nice excuse to get up to the Lake District. It looks a little more isolated than the last time I visited. :-)

@stray_shooter Thanks for your great comments Ron, the Lake District is a National Park planning permission for new homes is restricted, most of the homes and farm cottages have been there years:)

@terryliv She still would like to move back, housing is very expensive, its only a two hour drive there, so I treat her to days out when she has been particularly good:)
