Found this little Skylark ( approx 18cm long) singing away in the top of a tree at the bottom of my garden. Thanks to Nikki @nikharris it would appear to be a Dunnuck approx 15cm not a Skylark. (every day is a learning day)
It looks very similar to a Dunnock Peter (rather than a Skylark). One of my favourite birds. Lovely feather detail and exposure against the blue sky. Apologies if I'm wrong.
@nikharris Thank you for the information Nikki, I was not quite sure between the two the white chest against the grey of a Dunnock pushed me in the Skylark direction, as your an expert at photographing birds I will agree with your advise and change the title, many thanks for letting my know your advise is much appreciated:)
