Snow on the road

Woke this morning to frost, decided to go for a walk into the village to take some photographs, then the snow began to fall with very large flakes this was taken 20 minutes after it first started.

@simta Спасибо Татьяне, ваша погода, холоднее, чем у меня, как правило, теплее в это время года, так что я пошел в деревню, чтобы получить некоторые картины, не ожидал, что снег, прогноз был для снега в высоких холмах вместо этого он также находится на нижних холмах, где я живу :)

How amazing! I guess it's a nuisance for you, but from one who never gets snow, it would be so exciting for me :) fav

@gilbertwood Thank you for your comments and Fav. Denise, there is no such thing as bad weather its all right as long as you are dressed for it, I was dressed for the cold but had inappropriate foot ware on for snow, soft leather deck shoes, little toes soon got wet and cold, lol)

Wonderful winter scene Peter. Sounds like you should carry a back pack with clothing to suit all seasons in one day.( a bit like Melbourne) lol

Wow, this is a fabulous shot but it looks so bleak. I don't ever remember being warm in winter in the UK even with appropriate clothes or footwear.

@peterlgrave As an Englishman I'm usually dressed appropriately but this was not forecast in my neck of the woods, my niece's husband was asked to move from Brisbane to Melbourne and he refused because he said the weather is rubbish there, he still works for SUNCORP HQ in Brisbane they sent his college instead:)

@onewing Thanks for your comments Babs, possibly we have got better clothing now, when taking photographs in the bad winter weather I wear a Gore-tex jacket with an inner fleece, jeans with Gore-tex over leggings and Gore-tex walking boots never ever wear a hat or gloves, I'm as snug as a bug in a rug, lol:)

Great shot Peter, with the road leading you into the image. This shot brings back memories of driving on the "opposite" side of the road than I'm used to. :) PS: Nice large snow flakes too.

@novab Thank you Nova they were indeed very large snow flakes had a petal lens hood on had a devil of a job keeping the lens clear, had to clean it after every shot, I've driven on the wrong side of the road in Canada just had to remember which door to get in first thing in the morning then I was fine :)
