One of the local residents dressed up in some style at the Woodhall Spa 1940's weekend, just had to take a photograph it would have been rude not to after he went to all this effort and expense to look the part.
@quietpurplehaze Thank you Hazel pity about the background, there were lots of stalls selling 1940's clothes and accessories plus all manor of military gear, Jenny bought a hat, prices ranged from reasonable to ridiculous:)
@novab Thank you for your comments Nova, if only I had something like it, but in saying that I still would not look this cool, my wife intends to dress up next year so I expect I'll have to be on the lookout for a civilian outfit of some kind:)
@bella_ss Thank you for your comments Sheralee, its a great event they have tea dancers in the afternoon, film shows, dancing and music at night plus lots of events during the day, you just can't see them all:)
