My Friday people this week is Brian a Silverstone Race Maker Volunteer on hand to help at last weekends MotoGP event, such a nice chap very helpful, he did insist on taking his reading glasses off before I took his portrait,
Race makers responsibilities include welcoming members of the public to the venue, ticket checking, giving directions, handing out maps of the circuit and general information, dealing with customer queries and stewarding,
@onewing Thank you Babs, They are all fans of motor sport Silverstone always have more apply than get selected, they are on duty at all the major events, such as F1 Grand Prix, MotoGP, world Endurance racing and British Super Bikes to name a few:)
That's interesting, Peter. Perhaps folk at Silvestone don't want to keep still long enough to have their photo taken! (I never usually attempt more than a couple of portraits on any one occasion - too much info (words) to process otherwise.)
