The Tower

West Vale Church in West Yorkshire unfortunately could not find any information about its history, only thing I can say the clock was working
update thanks to Babs @onewing St John the Evangelist Church - Calder Street, West Vale The church was built in 1882 and last used as an Anglican Church in 1982

Good image. Churches always seem to make for good photos I find. I really like the different shapes and angles in the architecture

I like the architecture which to me has a continental feel.

Brilliant Peter, just Brilliant!! love the Pov..
obviously i know this building and how difficult it is to get anything like an unobstructed view.. i've looked more than a few times but just left it whereas you have taken the bull by the horns and got right in there.. it is, imho, a magnificent building and you have definitely done it proud..

@jorlam Thank you very much for your lovely words Jorlam they are always appreciated, I saw it yesterday as I drove back from the Dam, so returned today as it was dry, walked up and down trying to get a clear shot, found this POV. on a side road looking down almost level with the roof, its so frustrating to not be able to capture it in its entirety its such a lovely building:)

Another beautiful architecture shot Peter. I like the dramatic sky for this image too - adds to the character. Oddly enough the subject for my photoshop class project today was removal of power lines from your photos. I can clean that up for you! ;-)

@onewing Many thanks for the information Babs, this explains why the street was full of cars and vans, could not get a clean shot as the website photograph, camera club night I didn't have a lot of time to search the net but just could not find anything well done and thanks again:)

@stray_shooter Thank you for your comments, I tend to leave power lines in the shot unless I'm submitting it for a competition, you are more than welcome to copy this image and use it for your Photoshop class Ron I think it could be a little challenging but well worth a try:)
