@julzmaioro Thank you so much Julia, I had not see the original photograph until it was found in an old document box when clearing my mothers things after she passed away:)
@terryliv Thanks Terry the original photograph had a 1940 photographers stamp on it, we know dad was evacuated from the beach at Dunkirk 4th June 1940 so think it may have been taken during his first leave home:)
@onewing Thank you Babs, must admit I struggled to get the colours to look right I felt a hand tinted black and white photograph would be less vivid and the skin tones were challenging, but overall I was pleased with the result original was in a terrible state had to scan it and restore it first:)
@novab Thank you for your lovely comments Nova this is one of the great things about 365 project there are so many members willing to help just like Louise @Weezilou :)
@dide Thank you so much for your lovely comment Dianne it was a challenge but well worth the effort, btw my sister told me mums eyes were brown not blue and mother would not have worn a top that colour, lol:)
Peter, I think this is very good. My picture of my granny was in good condition, and there wasn't a lot I could do with it, colorwise. I will certainly have a go with more, but I have so many it could take me ages!!
