A shot of my pen a few days ago elicited some nice comments, so I thought I would show I use it every day. Not the most interesting shot in the world (!) but probably proper for me to record in the project something of my work.
Very nice capture here. I want to say you have nice hadwritting skills i only say this because i do s well. I own a mont blanc calligraphy pen. very nice shot I like it.
How lovely ....my first was a Conway stewart..graduated later in school to a Parker and I remember with my first wage packet buying a Scheaffer!! You are so good at depth of field....brilliant!! How were the mince pies?
@lyno Yes, it's almost a lost art! @anoeska Thank you, Anoeska. @hopelessromantic Yes, Waterman, it's a lovely pen. @kwind Thank you, you are too kind, I am usually scribbling these notes down during a very fluid and information packed team meeting.
It's nice to see that some people still use a fountain pen as sadly I stopped using one years ago. That's probably why my handwriting looks like a doctors! Nice composition Peter
Another wonderful image Peter, I really like them both. At school we had huge bottles of Quink on windowsills in the corridors. Although I had no choice but to use a fountain pen then, I did, and still do, much prefer to write in pencil which was considered to be 'childish'.
@peadar Peter, I have excellent penmanship and love to write in cursive. Sadly, that is quickly going the way of the dinosaurs as most school systems here have stopped teaching children cursive. The conventional wisdom is that computers, smartphones, tablets and electronic communications have rendered cursive as relevant as carbon paper.
Great shot Peter! I love the focus on the pen! I love handwriting! I would much rather handwrite than type :) Miss the old times at school before computers :)
@bluefirebucket Mick, for what it's worth, I love writing in pencil, it's like using a nib because the point degrades. Anyway, enough of the sadness, and let's just celebrate "writing"?
Seems you've struck a chord with a lot of people Peter! It is a shame that we all live in a keyboard/keypad world nowadays, nice to see that you still use and enjoy your fountain pen! Great dof and composition....
@peadar I don't know Peter to be honest. I decided I would stop but now, as I come close to the end, I am reconsidering. Hopefully you will do the same as it would be nice to still have you around.
@fannyb Thanks Fanny. A Schaeffer? Wow. And you'll have to wait for the mince pies!

@hopelessromantic Yes, Waterman, it's a lovely pen.
