@judithg Thanks, Judith ~ and thanks for asking about the RA. Actually the heat has no effect, beneficial or otherwise, on the inflammation. However, one of the side effects of the chemo-crapola (methotrexate) that I take is photo-sensitivity. So, I have to be somewhat careful of too much sun exposure. I'm thinking it could be one of the same meds your grandmother took...it's been a gold standard Rx for severe RA for ages. It's probably helping me only slightly more than it's hurting me. Well, enough of that. I've always been a cool weather kind of girl...I like a bit of a nip in the air. This obnoxious heat wave sux! :)
Great shot Peggy. I think we were even hotter than you today - unusual for us. By the way I finally got my camera bag like yours love it - great to carry and fits all my camera pieces so well. Now I have to work on some good shots. Are you still working with the manual mode.
@dora So glad you're loving your new camera bag, Dora! Isn't it great ~ there's space for everything and pockets for even more stuff! I love mine. Ever since my photo classes I've used manual settings pretty much exclusively. Your photos are looking incredible...are you shooting in manual?
@peggysirk I am loving it and love the space and all that I can carry with me (gets a little heavy at times but that is ok). I am struggling to shoot in manual - sure wish I was close to you - I could learn so much from you. Just changed my camera to the D7000 and now I feel like I am back to square one, but now that I am retired - damm I am going to get it!
