Afternoon Moon

I couldn't help but notice how bright the moon looked in the afternoon sky. I just had to go get my camera. Wish I had some mountains or ocean or something to add depth and interest to the shot...but the clouds and Carolina blue sky will have to do.

2. Getting older together

I have never been able to get a moon shot......this daytime moon is even nicer in the blue sky.....the dark night ones are ten a penny as they say! Great detail on that moon & a very happy birthday to your Tom.

I think it's marvelous! fabulous shot. I noticed the moon out in the day this week as well - while sledding on a bright clear day. In fact I heard a little neighbor boy of about 4 years old ask wonderingly "mamma! why is the moon out in the daytime!?"
