Signs of Spring

A robin, buds on the trees, and 71°/21C. Spring is working her way onto the scene.
Three Good Things:
1. The CDC has loosened social restriction guidelines.
2. A lunch date with three friends tomorrow for the first time in over a year!
3. We've all been completely vaccinated as a result of occupation, age, or clinical trial study.
A must fav for that beautiful pop of color...my friends and I are getting there with the vaccines - 3 out of 5 of us have our first one done and second scheduled this month ♥

Beautiful shot for spring - first robin. A lunch date - my 3 favorite words. How lucky are you to have been vaccinated and ready to go. We should be getting it within the month, fingers crossed. Enjoy your luncheon.

@dora I'd still be waiting to be eligible for vaccination if I hadn't signed up for the Pfizer clinical trial study last Fall. I had the first injection on 10/13/20 and the second on 11/4/20. So I've been Covid-proof for the past five months or so...although it wasn't officially confirmed that I received the actual vaccine, and not a placebo, until last month when I received a phone call from the study director asking if I wanted my vaccination confirmation card to be mailed. Hoping you get yours soon!

@happypat I'm so excited about this lunch date. It's been so long! Our American robins are much bigger and bolder in color than your cute little English robins. I've learned they're not even related. American robins are from the thrush family and English/European robins are from the flycatcher family.
