I was excited to see this beautiful bluebird show up for the last day of the Great Backyard Bird Count. A little flock of them had been hanging around a few weeks ago, then they just disappeared. But this little guy happened by today, and he has been properly recorded in my final daily count.
Three Good Things:
1. I noted fourteen different species of birds during the four-day Bird Count...from a tiny Gnatcatcher to a large Cooper's Hawk.
2. 198 lunches served at the soup kitchen today.
3. Having a plan B
