Well they don't do 'double decker' buses in Menorca (well I didn't see any) but this is shot from the front seat of the 'mini bus' taking us down from the hotel to the beach !
Our hotel was on the top of a massive hill, so the courtesy bus to the beach was quite a nice touch and a much welcome option to walking !
This is approaching the bottom of the hill and you can see the blue Mediterranean sea on the horizon.
I've messed about with tones , shadow, highlights to try and emphasise the sea.
As you can sea it's quite a residential area rather than 'touristy' and being a bit geeky I really enjoyed the 'bus ride' to the beach.
Things to look out for in the picture .....drivers 'armarni' sunglasses, some illuminated lights on his dashboard (which seems to be some enhanced braking switch for the big steep descent), 'tip basket' attached to window, reflection of tip basket in window, nice trees, whitewashed villas , complicated array of dangling bits to operate the drivers blind !
Anyway today's picture is a bit different from the beach images I've showed from the first four days of my holiday / vacation
I wondered before I read your write up if that was the tip basket ... the most important feature on the bus !! Great view & I hope you both were able to get the important ride back again up the hill !! Next time you go on the number 58 bus it will be eat your heart out time & a bit of a let down !!
I've taken some good pictures from the front seat of a car and a bus. These are photos you can't get any other way. Your holiday setting is so lovely. I can see why you chose it.
