Took my shoes and socks off to get this shot; rolled up my trousers and walked across the fast flowing stream that cuts across Perranport beach - not cold at all. I actually wanted to get the waves breaking across that head of land you can see in the photograph, but as I was walkiing, the flock of gulls just sat there, or walked away from me, keeping the distance the same. I wondered what the shot would be like if they took off, so did what any budding photographer would do, I shoulted 'Boo!!"
This is the end result.
(I did continue my walk to shoot the waves breaking over that headland, and as the tide was coming in at the time, didn't notice the wave that soaked me (I looked daft for the rest of the day with my jeans wet from the keens down))
