Honey Buzzard by phil_sandford

Honey Buzzard

As I was walking down the country lane from my B&B into the town for a meal, a Honey Buzzard flew directly over my head. Gone too quickly to photograph. I walked a bit further and peered through the hedgerow and saw it sat on one of the many vents that litter this area (from the mines and the bunker below ground). Shame I didn’t have my Sony as the zoom on the iPhone wasn’t much help.

I promise you, it’s a Honey Buzzard
I see him perched there! Always a dramatic sight

I take your word for it, as I had to turn on my magnifier to even see there was a bird. But you have to capture the moment for yourself. Also, I never heard of a honey buzzard, but it was probably a British bird.
