I've recently been quoted £835 (approx $1127) to purchase a replacement band/strap for an old Citizen Eco Drive Watch that I own; I nearly fell off my chair; admittedly it was corrected, after I queried, to £83 ($112).
Whilst searching a drawer in the kitchen for the micro screwdrivers that I know I own, to see if I could 'fix' the current strap/band myself, I came across my skeleton watch (which is also knackered as it needs a new battery).
After a long day on the laptops, and after going to pick up the indian take away that Carole and I just had for dinner, detouring out looking for today's photograph, I've decided to use the watch; I also decided to just capture half of it.
Its a classic! I love Roman numerals! Odd design in the centre. I took 5 watches in to get new batteries recently and 3 of them are too old! Had to throw them away and they were so nice!
