A morning spent at the car dealership, ordering my new car and an afternoon spent in the garden, planting out new Dahlias in pots for the greenhouse, planting out the bedding plants for the baskets and tubs and putting a few new shrubs into the border to replace the ones that 'The Beast from the East (parts one and two) devoured. I've also built a 'frame' for the dahlias to grow into (that I saw when we were in Norfolk last year) - not sure it's as good or that it'll work, but we'll see.
All tubs, baskets, borders watered with 'miracle grow' and then, having spent the afternoon in my garden, I've just wandered around it with the macro lens on my camera.

I love lavender. Every time I see lavender on 365 it reminds me to buy another plant, but then I forget again. Our lavender died in 42 degree heat last summer.
We have been to the tip today with a trailer load of garden waste after our huge hail storm a few weeks ago. This is the first chance we have had to take the rubbish. So much damage done to houses and gardens during the 10 minute storm.
