Where's My Breakfast? by phil_sandford

Where's My Breakfast?

Our resident Sparrowhawk popped in just now - the Goldfinches vanished faster than Leicester Tigers' chances of Europe next season is doing.

She seems to be favouring her right foot (all of the photographs I took have her holding it off the fence) I hope she's okay and was just 'sitting funny.'

A magnificent raptor and one I'm so pleased to see visiting now and then
Envy, envy and even more envy. Beautiful bird, beautiful image. Like you, I hope her foot is OK.

What a wonderful visitor to your garden -- as long as she behaves herself and suffices on the bird food and not hunt the delightful little garden birds . A stunning capture Phil - FAV

@beryl Sadly (but naturally) she comes in for the Passerine birds (and gets them quite often). I am effectively putting feed out for the finches and tits and therefore I’m putting food out for her. Wonder of nature.
