Not yet finished, but here's the dining room in colour. The picture is one of Carole's; she looked on line for a photograph like this and then decided that she could do a better job herself (and I reckon she did).
The wall on the right, which was going to be wallpapered (it isn't now) needs another coat of paint (this coming Friday) and then the mirror re-hanging.
A friend of Carole's is taking up the curtains and, with the material off the curtains, going to reupholster the cushion for the rocking chair (that was my Mother's) and then, finally, a new carpet and I'm sure Carole will quickly point me at the next room to be done ..............
