Another shot of my garden as we go into year four. As I said last month, after Carole had said that the angle I was taking the photos from before was perhaps not the most flattering I shot it from this angle instead. It appered to receive favourable comments so I'll continue for the year from here (and remembering exactly where I stood in September to get this angle was not that easy
Autumn, or as it is so aptly called over the pond, Fall, is upon us. The mystery tree (out of shot to the right) is devoid of all leaves, the maples are quickly losing theirs and the magnolia is certainly thinking about shedding her leaves and the lawn is festooned with brown, yellow and golden leaves (something for me to collect and dispose of in the coming weeks). Yet surprisingly, I still have Dahlias in bloom, some in bud yet to bloom and a few specs of colour at the far end from the Echniacea. We've been forecast frosts soon, so I'm guess the dahlias that haven't bloomed this year won't be doing so.
