Another shot of the garden taken almost a month or so after the last one.
Colour is beginning to return to the garden; certainly after the amount of rain that we have had this month, compared to a very dry April. The alliums are all up and beginning to burst into flower; the valerian is out, and various other plants such as Delphiniums Lupins Sea Holly are all beginning to get to the stage where we should have a colour. I also scattered hundreds of poppyseeds in the bed so again I’m hoping with the rain they will all flower; or at least most of them. The dahlias that I left in the ground over winter, there are a few beginning to poke up but not all. It is a good job that I have another 13 in the greenhouse ready to plant out next month.
