Day’s leave today; dropped my car off at the garage as my ACU had packed up and got given a brand new car to play with. Carole and I took a drive to Loughborough, where she was born, grew up & met me and we had lunch with her Brother & Sister in Law. We called into Queen’s Park in Loughborough in the morning which is where the Carillon & War Memorial is. I have done more than a few Remembrance Parades in this park, as I was stationed just outside Loughborough as a trade trainee in 1981-82 and as a trade instructor in 1989-1992.
