First coat of the final colour went on this morning; half way through I came to the understanding that I do not like decorating, that I really am an amateur at it and don’t really know what I’m doing. Popped around to a friend who does it for a living and got some pointers as to what I’m doing wrong; basically I’m trying to paint too big an area with one roller and he said “if it takes 5 coats then it takes 5 coats.” Will give it another coat tomorrow.
I think you’ve been doing amazing work so far, but it’s always wise to consult an expert when not sure. I kind of need a top down view of this room because I can’t figure out the railing.
@koalagardens - It’s a much subtler ‘pink’ than before, it’s called ‘Unicorn Horn’ for some reason; the time I spend on it is dictated to be evenings & weekends around the full time job.
I am so surprised to see that is pink again. What do you mean by too big an area with one roller? How do you either make the area smaller or use two rollers?
