The final match of the season today. It has, to put it mildly, been an awful season for Leicester Tigers. They have flirted with relegation for the first time in their history this season and only not been relegated because Newcastle with worse than us; thank God

I am about to drive the 65 miles home, after yet another defeat, I will update this post after I get in and have eaten. If I had a cat, I would probably kick it.

Home, eaten, still disappointed.
Not much needs explaining. The top picture is the Wall of Legends. Names (and some photos) of the great players who have graced the hallowed turf of Welford Rd since 1880. Out of today’s lot, only 2 would get near that wall; Matt Smith (who retired today after 16 years with Tigers) and George Ford. The rest of them, no comment.
