Was in Blandford earlier today (home of the Royal Corps of Signals of the British Army). I always call into the Corp Museum (they took a day’s pay off me to fund it (twice)) so feel I should.
This collection of IT equipment (servers, laptops, switches & printers) was deployed in Afghanistan for 6 years and I tech refreshed it in situ. I also was instrumental in getting this collection of kit, a “Deployed Node” into the Museum as a display.
I feel old.
