I’ve, or we’ve, upgraded to Full Fibre to House today; as usual it didn’t go smoothly and at one stage we had three OpenReach vans on the road with up to 4 engineers trying to work out where the hell the copper line in my house came from. The plans from the builders didn’t match the true installation and it appeared at one stage the duct was blocked.
Anyway, we now have full fibre to the house with a download speed of 150Mbps which hopefully means no more wheel of death on live stream sport via Amazon Prime. I’ve updated all the internet devices to the new hub’s password and all at the moment, touch wood, is good.
Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
Lovely capture of the beautiful colors in your sky. We went through that a month ago. Maddening. They didn’t have any trouble finding wires here, but they couldn’t get a new Internet address. Apparently our neighborhood had used up all assigned and they hadn’t added new ones.
