Lincoln’s Crooked House by phil_sandford

Lincoln’s Crooked House

Carole and I took a last stroll around the Cathedral quarter for 2021 this evening. The Cathedral is now, apparently, lit in gold though up close it looks kind of red (from the bypass it’s definitely gold).

This old ‘crooked house’ is half way down Steep Hill, just off on Michaelgate.

Thank you for stopping by and joining me over the course of 2021.
Great juxtaposition.

What is up with the crooked house. The windows are installed at quite an angle. The cathedral really makes a nice backdrop.

Wow! Awesome shot! The contrast between the coloured (orange) cathedral and the white of the house, the perfect lines in the cathedral vs the crookedness of the lines in the house, light and dark... awesome shot
