I often feel like this bird...standing still in one place with water all around me. Afraid that if I take one wrong step I am in the water so I try to balance myself on the podium I am on. I guess sometimes it works because moments after I snapped this photo, the bird took flight. I want to fly...so high and see the world. Maybe some day, but for now, I'll photograph the birds, and the trees, and the places I do go.
