For my first photo in the Year of the Tiger, I give you another glimpse into my jewelry collection-- this time with my carved jade tiger pendant. I've had this little guy for ages; my dad gave him to me because I was born in the year of the Tiger. My dad liked the way jade looked on my mother because of the green of her eyes, apparently (she died when I was little and I don't remember). The green of my eyes is a lot darker, I think, but hopefully it works anyway!
Unfortunately, taking close-up shots of this little guy has highlighted his need for a good cleaning...😅
