I ordered this compass from an Etsy seller as a Christmas gift for Chris. We had a big storm just before Christmas so there were a lot of postal delays and the compass didn't arrive until the week after Christmas. I took these photos for the Etsy product review.
Chris loves wolves and had wolf stuff in his bedroom when he was young, but the wolves in his posters etc were always alone which, as it turns out, wolves don't generally like. They prefer to be in packs, or at least pairs. The wolves on the front of this compass are a pair that I photographed on a trip to Quebec in 2017. The wording inside is a Rudyard Kipling quote.
