27 January is Holocaust Remembrance Day, so we wanted to visit a memorial. There aren't a ton of Holocaust memorials around here and they're often in Jewish cemeteries, which are often kept locked and you need to make arrangements with a rabbi to let you in... But there is a small Jewish cemetery in the Hamilton neighbourhood where Christopher's dad and stepmum lived while he was growing up that is kept unlocked, so we went there to pay our respects.
Last year Chris wasn't feeling up to walking out to the memorial with me, so it was nice to be able to do it together this year.
