We went back to the pond I posted from the other day, and the kingfisher was back on his perch! He still didn't really like me trying to photograph him, but I got a couple. There was another kingfisher about as well, and I wonder if it was his mate, but I couldn't get a good enough look to know if it was a female or another male (the females have red on them as well).
