This evening we went for a little drive to the University of Guelph Arboretum in hopes of seeing the Japanese Garden at blossom time, since it was closed last year. The garden was open this time, but the cherry trees in/around it weren't really in blossom, even though the blossoms are peaking in Toronto and Mississauga! Maybe they're different types of cherry tree? Anyway, there is one big cherry tree near the Arboretum entrance that was definitely blossoming, so I took some close-ups of its flowers. It's the same one we saw in blossom last year, since it's the one that's not around the Japanese Garden anyway, lol.
