My first close-up post of a bird at our bird-feeder. Had to shoot through glass window since every time I go out, our dog comes along and scares all the birds away. This one stared down another bird with those eyes to get to the food. I have to start learning the names of the birds in our region! P.S. for all you bird-afficionados, can this really be an Eastern Towhee? Or just a mimic (if there is such a thing) in the NW region?
Lovely capture.Just beautiful. We can't put up bird feeders around her till November because of the black bears.Although I have not seen a bear in months!
@mzzhope@killeen@sarasdadandmom@tuya thanks! I checked out what this bird maybe in our book and the markings and color matches exactly the Eastern Towhee. But why it is in the NW region?
