We had so much rain and strong winds today. And we were out watching our boys play soccer! I had to take pictures for my older son's soccer team. It was a juggling act between holding the umbrella against the wind and keeping the camera dry. When we got home it poured even more. Glad to be inside the house to take this photo. @jaynspain only lightning stops soccer (or footy) here in Seattle. I think the players will swim in the field if needed :-) At least most of the fields are turf, not grass, so not muddy!
I have done similar for daughters netball hahaha and same only lightening or an absolute deluge will stop a game - soccer here stops at less though because they don't want their grounds ruined hahaha
@annied@paula1@sbolden@happysnap@hjv thanks for your comments. We have more of the same weather today. Hope we are not going for another record this year of most number of consecutive days of rain. Funny thing with that, though, after we pass a certain number of weeks, you start rooting for more rain to break the record to at least make it worthwhile :-)
