Paddle Boat on the Lake

Spotted this vintage paddle boat while out for a ride around Lake Burley Griffin over the weekend, that's our National Library in the back ground.

What a wonderful looking boat, at first glance I thought this must be India or Asia somewhere but then I saw the Nat. Library in the background and realised where it was. Was this a privately owned paddle boat?
