If you are lucky in the Outback you might see flocks of hundreds of these lovely cockatoos. This was a small flock but they obligingly stayed still long enough for a few shots.
you don't need to be in the outback either. We have got thousands of them here. They only arrived in our area after a huge bushfire about 10 years ago at Myall Lakes. They flew over this side of the bay and never returned.
We have thousands of them here too. They roost in the peppermint trees at Rockingham Beach and are causing a lot of damage in the area. I still love them :)
