Took Jinks back to the vet to get his stitches out and couldn't resist a walk around the pond at BIshops Waltham. I heard several robins singing in the trees and got 2 or 3 shots but, like this one, they are mostly in monochrome although shot in colour! At least it's not raining now but the sky looks rather ominous.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
This is great! I love how you caught him with his beak wide open, singing his little heart out in spite of the weather! We should all be so optimistic! ;)
Oh dear I must have missed Jinks having stitches ..or have I ...can't think if I knew or not....must be going stupid Hazel!!! Love the mid song bird !!
What a great silhouette! I have a rubber stamp (for making greeting cards) similar to this, but I like your photo better because it has beautiful simplicity
You're OK, Pat. Go here http://365project.org/quietpurplehaze/a-few-more/2014-01-08 - hope you are amused by Jinks' behaviour.
Wonderful photograph.
I was just thinking about that yesterday, Vicki - problem is where to hang him?!!!
