This morning we woke to frost, by mid-morning it was raining and at around half past three, the sun appeared. So I decided to take Jinks and walk up the hill to get a pic of the daffodils planted by the roadside. It was not a success (litter left strewn amongst the daffodils; having to simultaneously keep tight hold of Jinks on a short lead and hold a camera, Jinks getting caught on a bramble; Jinks deciding daffodils were good for peeing up against; daffodils all looking towards the ground) BUT there was the most beautiful sunset and great views of it up the hill. But when we came home I found that the puddle at the end of our grove gave the best shot of all. So thank you to the council for making such a terrible job of resurfacing the road and leaving a dip handy for a nice big puddle.
@purplehaze12 Well we didn't know what 'hi' Jinks there would be when we named him! His kennel club name was 'Crowneast Jingle Jinks' - so that's where we originally got the idea!
@pyrrhula The trouble is, I always think these photo opportunities will also be good dogwalks but it would be much easier if I did the two separately! (But I'd be worn out!)
I can see you do the walking , makes me smile ( sorry ) . But you HAVE you pic. of to day
