....and a prime example of one-handed dog-non-assisted shooting as I was on my own with Jinks and had to make sure he sat still and didn't run off on the long lead, hold my camera close over the puddle but not drop it in, and also not fall in myself. I think Jinks was exceptionally well behaved, considering he doesn't like water.

This must have looked rather odd to anyone looking out of their windows...perhaps they know what that strange women with the camera is doing ....Jinks is behaving very well ...a star!!
I didn't know you could write poetry as well as paint, Beryl! I do think Jinks is wearing what we call his 'Churchillian' look here? No disrespect to that eminent statesman.................
Thanks, everybody, for your great support. I just came on here and called to Ray, 'Oh, Jinks has got on the PP!' Jinks was snoozing on the upstairs spare bed (just for a change) and i heard him jump down and he appeared here in the hall barking and excited and has been 'talking' to the front door as he thinks somebody is coming. Well strangely enough, two friends ARE coming and Jinks always knows when we're expecting visitors - I'm sure he can read my mind!
I think I probably have a reputation around here by now!!!
p.s. I think Jinks thought I had some biscuits with me!

Definitely he did, but I didn't have any with me! He got his tea of scrambled egg and dog biscuits when we reached home.
