I bet you've had it too: that powerless, sinking sort of feeling when you see a shot and know you don't have a camera with you.
'Look' said Ray, as we drove home from the pool.
But I suddenly remembered that we'd put my old p&s in his car glove-box - just in case of some sort of accident. (Ray used to be a liability claims' investigator so thinks of these things.)
So here's the rainbow, sort of 'drive-at' photography. And now it's just tipping with rain.
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Gorgeous rainbow. Glad you had that extra camera with you. I missed three potentially awesome shots the other day because I didn't have my camera with me.
That was nearly a goner Hazel...well caught & a lesson for us all.I took my camera with me today but it was raining so hard I never got it out until I got home. Took a photo of the black sky & discovered I had left the card in the computer.
Thanks, Karen - funny you should say that as Ray remarked recently that he thinks I enjoy the writing part of my project as much as the photographic part - well, almost, I think, just need the pic first!
Beryl, it poured most of last evening here. We went to a concert and the road was partially flooded in places. And it's kind of mizzling this morning. When will it stop? I don't know and I'm beginning to think it never will!!!!!
Leaving the card in the computer is pretty annoying too. My Panasonic cameras have a little built-in memory so that's useful!
