a chance encounter

Bright sun and blue sky today and we took the path across the water meadows to St Cross almshouses. I left Ray and Jinks to sit in the courtyard (dogs not allowed inside) while I went in search of a shot or two and found that they had made friends with Brother John who has just been made a senior brother. He's lived at St Cross for 27 years.
