A Silver Town by radiogirl

A Silver Town

Once the world's largest producer of silver, Cobalt has seen better days. Pictured here are crumbling head-frames, foundries, the Cobalt train station built in the early 1900's, and an abandoned home. In it's hey day it had a population of over 35,000 but now has less than 1,000.
This collage is what I'm submitting for the building challenge.

Thanks for dropping by.
Interesting photos and a fascinating place to visit - looks like loads of photo ops there!

Interesting pics, Kathy. Sad to see formerly vibrant, booming towns in decay. Great collage and captures.
