Something new

My husband smoked a turkey last night. Today I used the carcass to make some turkey broth. Soup tomorrow! I like to save the wishbone from whole chickens and turkeys and dry them. This one fell right off the carcass and appeared when I was straining the broth.

We used to do the same as kids (pulling the wishbone) because we never had chicken very often but now it goes into the rubbish bin.

Great shot. We do n`t have that many times whole turkey`s . With two people it`s much to much

@pyrrhula Both my husband and I love turkey. I make soup and freeze some for soup later, plus give some away to single friends. Somehow it gets gone.
