Smoke in the sunset

I'm so thankful we're only getting smoke from the forest fires that are raging approximately 18 miles from the town I live in. The air is quite thick and noxious smelling.

I think that would be rather scary- but it hardly looks that way when the sunset's so pretty. I hope by now it's been put out and the air has cleared.

Scary fire but the setting sun is so dramtic.

@altadc Not scared yet, but it could travel in my direction. Yes the smoke has made for some interesting view. Often looks like fog.
